Still thinking of what to get your Dad for Father’s Day?
Growler [ grou-ler ] noun
- a person or thing that growls.
- a Growler (/ˈɡraʊlər/) is a glass, ceramic, or stainless steel bottle (or jug) used to transport draft beer. They are commonly sold at breweries and brewpubs as a means to sell take-out craft beer.
- something else.
We have added two new delicious beers on tap for growler fills. They come from two of our favourite breweries.
The first is from Swannay Brewery in Orkney. We had a few of their beers on tap last summer and we were never disappointed! Their beers range from traditional well brewed classics to some more ‘out there’ craft beers.
The second new beer comes from Cromarty Brewing Co. A firm favourite of ours. This micro-brewery is set in a beautiful part of Cromarty and their beer is made with the finest local and world-wide ingredients.
Swannay Voe
This is a roasty yet hoppy sweet oat stout. Ruby black in colour with a creamy pale head. Not normally considered a beer for June but it has been known to rain on the west coast (sometimes even in the summer).
Cromarty Lager
Cromarty’s take on a Munich Helles style lager. It’s crisp, clean and very refreshing. The perfect beer for a warm Skye summer’s day in the garden!
Full range of draft beer can be found here!
Cheers!
