MacPhail's single malt is matured to perfection in their own hand-selected oak casks. Drawing on more than a century of experience handed down through four generations of the same family, the whisky is released when it reaches the ultimate peak of quality; the perfect combination of oak, spirit and time. The distillery of origin is a closely guarded secret, adding an air of mystery to this rich, full-bodied and complex single malt Scotch. This release has been matured for 15 years.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Full and fruity, with notes of marmalade, lemon zest, oak, and pine resin. Delicate sherry notes, rich toffee, and orange marmalade are also commonly found.

Palate: Full, balanced, and rich in flavour. Expected notes include fruit cake, melon, peaches, apricot, raisins, milk chocolate, and hints of cinnamon and cloves. Sticky toffee overtones are also mentioned.

Finish: A long, warming finish with notes of dried fruit and a faint, subtle wisp of smoke.
