A tasty release from the superb Islay distillery Kilchoman. This is 'Casado', a limited-edition release which is an experimental maturation from the distillery. Matured in fresh bourbon barrels for 6 years before 38 casks were selected and married together for an additional 2 years in two 6,000 litre Portuguese red wine vats. Expect lots of wine fruits and peppery-Islay smoke in this one.
