The whisky is matured exclusively in the shoreline warehouses of Ardhasaig overlooking the Atlantic and just a few short miles from the distillery. With the island’s high humidity and low temperature fluctuation, it’s one of the most unique maturation environments in the world. As it opens, brighter fruit and delicate floral notes appear, with a gentle hint of spice. The palate brings rich, buttery caramels and sweet clove and ginger, balanced by the dry, flinty character that’s so typical of Isle of Harris spirit.
